                            Here at Real Talk USA, my mission is clear, and it always will be.

My wife, Melinda, recently lost her sight. Imagine being able to see for 50 years, and then in just three short months, it’s gone. No time to prepare. No time to adjust. It’s been devastating, not just for her, but for us as a family. Her blindness has put a strain on our finances, our relationship, and every aspect of our daily lives. Melinda needs me at home, and I want to be here for her. 
But I’m also facing my own battle. I’ve been diagnosed as terminal cirrhosis of the liver, and the doctors tell me I probably have less than 10 years. My greatest fear is leaving her behind without the care and support she deserves. So, I put my mind to work and asked myself, what can I do, from home, to build something that provides for Melinda now and after I’m gone? This website is the answer to that question.

If it’s worth your attention, I’ll show you why.                                                                        Music & Courses:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      I’ve been a guitar player and singer for much of my life. I never made it professionally—an accident cut off the tip of one of my   fingers, which set me back. but I still played on stage, and even performed as second-chair violin in the musical South Pacific.
 On this site, I’ll be sharing music lessons, insights, and courses. I’ll also highlight instruments and gear that are solid investments for learners and players alike.               
My Life Story:
I’ve lived through abuse, pain, and mistakes I regret deeply. I chose the wrong crowd when I was young, and it led me down a dark path. But those struggles shaped who I am today. I’ll be sharing my story here, because I believe it can help others who feel lost or broken. Maybe one day it will even become a book.
